Interested in Volunteering?

  • Volunteering at the Tucson Earth Day Festival is a great opportunity to help celebrate the Earth and facilitate learning and enjoyment for thousands of attendees. Volunteer hours can also count as community service for school and scout requirements.

We need help with the following

  • Helping exhibitors move supplies and equipment to their booths, and to their vehicles.
  • Staffing Eco-Stations to collect recyclables, compostables and trash.
  • Patrolling event grounds for litter.
  • Helping exhibitors set up canopies, tables and chairs.
  • Conducting a participant survey.
  • Parking bikes in a Bike Valet area.
  • Helping participants decorate their bikes.

Contact Karen.Wilhelmsen@pima.gov if you're interested in volunteering.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age, unless accompanied by an adult.
